LYNX is on the East Coast for the first time in eight years and will be based in West Palm Beach, Florida until the end of March before embarking on a tour of the Atlantic States, New England, the Canadian Maritimes, and into the Great Lakes for the exciting 2010 Great Lakes United TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE(r). The LIBERTY CLIPPER is seeking a summer season captain in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have tall ship command experience. The LIBERTY CLIPPER is highly customer focused and offers a mixture of private charters, public day-sails and special events such as weddings. The Captain should enjoy encouraging guest participation during each sail, helping to train and mentor the unlicensed crew and will act as a liaison between the office and the vessel. Position requires a 100-ton near coastal license sail endorsed. References will be required. Start date is approximately June 5th in Boston, MA. This position is available through late September or for the right person could extend into the winter Bahamas season.

The 125-foot Schooner LIBERTY CLIPPER is now accepting applications for the position of Deckhand. Prior tall ship experience is preferred. The LIBERTY CLIPPERis a highly customer-focused sailing ship that provides week-long sailing cruises in the Bahamas in the winter and 2-hour day-sails in Boston, MA in the summer months. Position will start April 12th in the Bahamas. Preference will be given to candidates that prefer to stay aboard through the completion of the sailing season in the Bahamas in April 2011. The 125-foot Schooner Liberty Clipper is seeking an experienced Tall Ship Chef to manage all aspects of food preparation and provisioning. We serve three meals daily for up to 34 people. We have a standard menu that you’ll need to be able to prepare while maintaining high quality standards. Some quests will require special food preparation for food allergies and/or vegetarian/vegan dishes. Customer service and interaction is also highly important with this position. Must be an excellent cook, also requires strong organizational skills as the Chef will be responsible for ordering provisions weekly.
